A historical event for the Rohingya community occurred as United Nations Secretary-General H.E. António Guterres, alongside Chief Adviser of the Government of Bangladesh Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, visited the Rohingya camps situated in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar.

Mr. Faruk E Azam, Bir Protik, Honorable Adviser, Ministry of Disaster Management & Relief and Ministry of liberation war affairs has visited several Rohingya camps in Ukhiya, Cox's Bazar, where he has interacted with Rohingyas, UN officials and NGOs/INGOs representatives.
